Apprenticeship

Joe Douthwaite has recently completed a three year (NVQ Level 3) pipefitting apprenticeship  with Karden Pipework.  Joe, an ex pupil of Frederick Gough Comprehensive started his apprenticeship in September 2008 spending his first year training to NVQ Level 1 at the CATCH facility in Stallingborough before gaining his Level 2 and 3 qualifications whilst working both on-site and workshop based with Karden Pipework.

Ken Button has recently been appointed as the company’s shop floor Safety Representative.  Ken has worked in the industry for over thirty years and has been employed by Karden Pipework as a coded welder since 1996.  He shall represent the field workforce on health, safety and hygiene.

Local sponsorship

Karden Pipework have agreed to help local football team “Bottesford Town” by becoming track-suit sponsors for their 2011/2012 season.  We wish the team who play in division one of the Baris Northern Counties East League all the best for the forthcoming season.

Karden Pipework have also agreed to renew their shirt sponsorship for the "Plate Mills Golf Society".  Several of the companys employees are members of the society which holds competition days once a month through the warmer months.  The society visits numerous golf courses around Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.
